1. About these terms
ONIMA PANTRY LLC, doing business as ONIMA PANTRY (“ONIMA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operates onimapantry.com. Shopify provides the ecommerce platform. These Terms of Service describe the conditions for using our website and purchasing directly from us. Please read them before placing an order.
Our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy form part of the terms for purchases. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. If a general provision here conflicts with a more specific shipping or refund provision, the specific provision controls. Mandatory legal protections always take precedence.
2. Eligibility, accounts, and lawful use
To place an order, you must have legal capacity to make the purchase, or act with a parent or guardian's authorization where permitted by law. Provide accurate contact, delivery, and payment information and use only payment methods you are authorized to use.
Protect your account credentials and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not use the website to commit fraud, infringe another person's rights, introduce malicious software, unlawfully collect others' personal information, or interfere with the website's security or operation. Nothing here prohibits lawful consumer reviews, complaints, research, or communications with regulators.
3. Orders, pricing, and payment
Review your items, delivery address, currency, shipping charges, taxes, and total before submitting an order. Available payment methods and applicable charges are shown at checkout. You authorize charges for the order you submit. Additional charges or material changes require your agreement where required by law.
Products are subject to availability. We may decline or cancel an order for a legitimate reason such as unavailability, suspected fraud, an inability to deliver to the address, or a material pricing error, subject to applicable law. If a correction would change an order you have already placed, we will notify you and provide any required cancellation or consent options. We will not increase an agreed price or substitute a different product without your agreement.
If we cancel an order, we will notify you and promptly refund amounts paid for the canceled items, including applicable taxes and shipping charges required by law. Changes to prices apply to future purchases and do not by themselves change an existing order.
4. Product information and food safety
We aim to provide accurate descriptions, ingredient information, images, and prices. Packaging and appearance may vary between production runs, and screen colors may differ from the physical product. This does not reduce our obligation to supply products that conform to the description and applicable law.
Read the product's ingredient, allergen, storage, and use information before consumption. Contact us if anything is unclear or inconsistent. Do not consume a product if its seal is broken unexpectedly, the container is damaged, or it appears unsafe. Tell us about the issue using the contact details below. These instructions do not waive any responsibility for accurate labeling, product safety, or defective products.
5. Shipping, returns, and order problems
We currently ship to the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Dispatch estimates, shipping charges, delivery estimates, and international-charge information are explained in our Shipping Policy and shown where applicable before purchase.
Our Refund Policy explains eligible 14-day non-food returns, ONIMA-paid return postage, and remedies for damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing goods. Food is excluded from change-of-mind returns, subject to mandatory legal rights. We generally resolve food-product issues without a physical return.
If we cannot ship on time, you retain applicable rights to notification, cancellation, and a prompt refund. A dispatch, carrier handoff, or delivery scan does not by itself eliminate our legal obligations concerning your order.
6. Promotions and gift cards
Any conditions for a promotion, including eligibility, dates, minimum spend, exclusions, and whether offers can be combined, will be disclosed with the offer or before purchase. We honor mandatory gift-card redemption, expiration, and fee protections. No general “final sale” statement overrides rights concerning defective goods or other remedies required by law.
7. Intellectual property and customer reviews
ONIMA's original website content and branding belong to ONIMA PANTRY LLC or their respective licensors. You may use the website for personal shopping and as otherwise permitted by law. Other commercial reproduction or use of our branding requires permission unless permitted by law.
You retain ownership of reviews, photos, and other content you submit. When you submit content for public display as a review, you grant us a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to display and reproduce it with the relevant products on our store and associated review-syndication channels, and to make technical formatting changes needed for that display. This does not transfer ownership or permit us to materially misrepresent your opinion. Separate use of your content in paid advertising requires appropriate permission.
Reviews should reflect your honest experience. We may moderate content that is unlawful, fraudulent, unrelated to the product or service, reveals another person's private information, or otherwise violates legitimate, neutrally applied review rules. We do not prohibit or penalize honest negative reviews, condition incentives on positive sentiment, or require you to transfer intellectual-property ownership in a review.
8. Privacy and communications
Our Privacy Policy describes information use, service providers, analytics and advertising tools, and privacy choices. Placing an order does not itself require consent to optional marketing. We may send communications needed to process and support your order. Where law requires separate consent, acceptance of these terms is not a substitute for that consent.
9. Third-party services and website availability
The store may link to third-party websites or offer services supplied by payment, delivery, or other providers. Those providers may have their own terms and privacy notices. This does not relieve ONIMA of its own obligations to customers.
We cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free website access. We may maintain, improve, suspend, or discontinue website features, or restrict access to address misuse or security concerns, subject to applicable law. Any such action does not cancel our obligations for existing purchases or legally required refunds.
10. Warranties, responsibility, and legal rights
Products remain subject to applicable express and implied warranties and mandatory consumer protections. These terms do not sell food “as is,” disclaim all product warranties, or exclude liability for unsafe or defective products where the law provides a remedy.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These terms do not require you to indemnify ONIMA for its own wrongdoing. Your rights and available remedies are determined by applicable law and any additional promises we expressly make.
11. Applicable law and resolving concerns
Applicable United States federal and state law governs where applicable, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections under the laws of their place of residence. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, or an exclusive court location.
If a problem arises, please contact us so we can try to resolve it. Contacting us first is not a condition that limits any right to contact a regulator, dispute a charge, bring a legal claim, or exercise another remedy available under law.
12. Changes and interpretation
We may update these terms by posting a revised version with an updated date and providing any additional notice or obtaining consent required by law. Changes apply prospectively and will not retroactively reduce rights for existing purchases. Terms presented when an order was placed remain applicable to that order, subject to mandatory law.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive it on another. Nothing here excludes rights or representations that applicable law requires us to honor.
